 Weekly Reflection

Monday to Friday

The week before the final week of my school internship was an important and productive period. During this week, I continued teaching lessons as per the lesson plans and focused on completing the syllabus. Each class began with a brief revision to reinforce students’ previous learning.

I used different teaching methods such as explanation, questioning, and activity-based learning to maintain students’ interest. Teaching aids like the blackboard and worksheets were used effectively. Students actively participated in classroom discussions and showed improvement in understanding the lessons.

I paid special attention to slow learners by giving them additional explanation and practice. Classroom management and time management improved as I became more confident in handling the class. I also received constructive feedback from my mentor teacher, which helped me improve my teaching techniques.

Overall, this week helped me strengthen my teaching skills and prepare myself for the final week of the internship. It was a valuable learning experience that increased my confidence and readiness for the teaching profession.

I completed my regular class duties, took substitution periods, and taught the planned lessons. The students participated actively and responded well to the activities given. We also celebrated  Independence Day  in our school this week. The day began with the flag-hoisting ceremony, followed by patriotic songs and a short cultural programme. Students showed great enthusiasm and took part in various activities that highlighted the value of freedom and national unity. INTERNSHIP PHASE1 WEEK 6   WEEKLY REFLECTION 18/8/2025 to 22/8/2025 Monday to Friday  This week of my internship was vibrant and meaningful, offering a blend of regular classroom activities and special school events. Each day provided valuable opportunities to observe, teach, interact with students, and become more familiar with the school environment. I continued with my routine classroom responsibilities. I observed classes handled by different teachers and learned new strategies related to questioning techniques, classroom management, and student engagement. These observations helped me understand how to maintain discipline while still keeping students motivated and involved in learning activities. I also handled substitution periods throughout the week.
